John was President and board member of the Greater St. Louis Business Aircraft Association and was instrumental in supporting and growing the organization. Active member of the Quiet Birdman, Missouri Pilots Association, Greater St. Louis Flight Instructions Association, FAAST Team Representative, DA-20 Pilot Proficiency Examiner, the CAF Missouri Wing and the American Legion of Chesterfield. John was Chief F Pilot for Crown Diversified Holdings and flew for Million Air and was well known and a pillar in the St. Louis Aviation community.
